An island nation divided into forty-seven,
where we each live our separate lives.
There’s no way to compare which place is the best.
With good encounters, a place becomes interesting.
With painful memories, it becomes dull.
In the end, people are the spice.

The more I learn about worlds I’ve never seen,
the smaller my hometown looks from afar.
But you know,
there’s one great love here
that exists nowhere else in the world.

This town is Mecca, my utopia.
A place that embraces both joy and sorrow.
No matter when, it always says “welcome home” — thank you.
Even when we’re far apart, those words never change.

Thank you for the unconditional love
you’ve given me since the day I was born.
The town where my family lives —
that is my hometown.


You were born in a distant city,
across seas and over mountains.
I wonder where and how you grew up
before we found each other.

Someday, even on a transparent canvas,
I want to paint a new world
with colors made by you and me.

With different hobbies and values,
